Bug Hotel

Our urban bug hotels, installed and ready for infestation. As worldwide air pollution continues to fall since the Covid related lockdown, (Greater Manchester has seen a huge 40% drop), this opens up new opportunities for insects and wildlife to flourish in unsuspecting areas.

We have been popping these up in some urban areas to encourage such activities and home our crawly communities. We’ll be checking them again in a few months to see the progress.

We were recently asked by Together Dementia in Hulme to deliver a making workshop, teaching a support group how to construct and decorate their very own bug hotel using simple techniques and minimum tools.
